When our goverment approved the 2 casinos, targets are the "high-rollers" and tourists ard the region, especially from China Mainland. The levy imposed to the locals is a "bonus". To make it nice to hear, is to discourage singaporeans to gamble, but............ u think they really cares.............. I only believes, if they really dun want singaporeans to be in the gaming scene, they should have just build the IRs without the casinos. But they know well no matter how wonder is a disneyland can never compared to a single casino, nevertheless is two now! (Taxes, Worker's levy, Tourism, Cost/Rental of land etc.....) $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
